Proposal Competition
Introduction
Join the Proposal Competition to encourage students to propose innovative solutions centered around the application of telecommunications and communications industry. This year's theme Enhance Equality in Our Society with AI in Communications invites student participants to explore how AI communication solutions can be utilized to promote equality including but not limited to learning, social, economic, gender and racial, and improve communication and equitable digital future within our communities in Hong Kong.

About the Proposal
Enhance Equality in Our Society with AI in Communications
Please include the following elements in the proposal:

Participants are required to submit a proposal in
a) written format (500-1000 words) or
b) PowerPoint format (maximum 20 slides and above 400words) in either English or Chinese. -
Participants are encouraged to provide visuals, charts, or diagrams to support their proposals and effectively communicate their ideas. - The competition only allows individual submission.

For proposal competition Word or PPT document to be submitted by participating student, please state his/her fill name in Chinese or English ONLY, and do not state his/her school name.

Scoring method for the Outstanding Achievement School Award: The school with the highest total among the champion, first runner-up, second runner-up, and ten outstanding submissions. If there are no overlapping schools among the champion, first runner-up, second runner-up, and ten outstanding submissions, the award will be given to the champion school.

Scoring method for the Active Participation School Award: Based on the participation rate of the schools.

There is a Outstanding Achievement School Award (three winners) and Active Participation School Award. The awarded schools will receive a trophy.

Judging Criteria: Content (60%) & Writing Skills and Visual Presentation (40%).

The organizer reserves the right to use the submissions for future promotional and marketing purposes.

All submitted entries must be original; no copied or synthesized works will be accepted.

The organizer reserves the right to modify the rules and regulations of the event, as well as change the event details and final results without prior notice.

The Champion, First Runner-Up, Second Runner-Up and ten outstanding submissions will be selected by the judging panel, and winners will receive HUAWEI prizes on the 2025 WTISD-HK Prize Presentation Ceremony on May 17, 2025.

We would like to invite winners to participate in a brief interview about the proposal, featured on stage at the event.

The winner will forfeit the prize if they do not attend the ceremony.
